Natalie's Maternity Session

It may be cold and dreary outside, but let's make today a #WonderfulWednesday with some beautiful pictures! These are from the amazing session with Natalie, Dan, and Tessa before the arrival of baby Quinn on September 27th. Having never done a maternity shoot while she was pregnant with Tessa, everything about this was new to Natalie and she knocked it out of the park! Beautiful, serene, and fierce all at the same time, you know this is a momma in charge!

This was an exciting challenge with limited locations around a single home, and our first ever milk bath photography! There was definitely a lot to be learned, a lot of trial and error, but the final images (most of them private for the client) came out great! This will absolutely be on the list of things to try again in the future. The final images from this shoot were toned down on the "vintage" style, but you can see elements in a few; hints of a soft lens and vibrant colors on the second image, slight color cross processing on the third, and of course shooting with an old camera in the fourth. The milk bath was in a world of it's own, and treated as such to develop into a beautiful final image. Thankful as always for the ability to work with such wonderful clients, this is a shoot that won't easily be forgotten!
